Anna C. Morales is an associate attorney at Jacobs Legal, PLLC. As a Miami native, Anna is fluent in both English and Spanish and has emphasized the need to work closely with the Hispanic community.
Anna Morales received her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University. During her undergraduate career, she worked alongside the State Attorney’s Office as a Court Counselor for Pre-trial Diversion Services evaluating and placing criminal offenders in specialized programs.
After receiving her bachelor’s degree, she moved to North Carolina where she worked as a family law, personal injury and social security disability paralegal for three years. Her experience and love for the legal field inspired her to further enhance her career and attend law school.
In 2013, she received her Juris Doctorate’s Degree from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University College of Law. Mrs. Morales completed several internships during law school that significantly broadened and diversified her as a lawyer. From 2010-2011, Mrs. Morales interned at the State Attorney’s Office’s Death Penalty and Child Sex Crimes division where she performed extensive research and trial preparations, as was part of the prosecution’s legal team in a Death Penalty trial. From 2011-2013, Mrs. Morales became a Guardian Ad Litem for Dependency cases. As a Guardian ad Litem, she advocated for children who were removed from their home and vigorously investigated all allegations and parties involved to ensure the decisions made were in the best interests of the child.
Upon graduating, she dedicated her focus on advocating for the disabled and veterans by assisting them in obtaining federal benefits. Since joining Jacobs Legal, Ms. Morales has been practicing both civil and criminal litigation and has continued to emphasize the importance of helping others through zealous representation.
